Stephanie thinks in trilogies. She likes writing – and reading – connected stories and series books because it gives the reader a sense of a big, broad world the characters inhabit. She’s put together character lists for her various series at the request of several readers who liked the idea of having a quick reference for characters whose stories span the course of several books. Character and series lists will be added to as new books are published! Below, you’ll find information about series order as well as character lists for the Hard To Hold Brother Series, the Harlequin Blazes and the Sydney Croft books.

Hard To Hold – November 24, 2009
Book 1 in the Hard To Hold Brother Series

Main Characters: Jake Hansen and Isabelle Markham

Who You’ll Meet:

Jake Hansen – A Navy SEAL, brother to Nick and Chris. He rescues Isabelle Markham and his life will never be the same.

Isabelle Markham – A plastic surgeon who works with MSF (Doctors Without Borders)

Kenny Waldron – Biological father to Chris, adoptive father to Jake and Nick.

Nick Devane – A Navy SEAL, brother to Jake and Chris. His story will be told in Book 2, Too Hot To Hold, published January 5th, 2010.

Chris Waldron – A Navy SEAL, sniper, brother to Jake and Nick. His story begins in Too Hot To Hold and finishes in Hold On Tight, published January 26^th, 2010.

Clutch aka Bobby Juniper – Former Delta Force Operator and part of the mysterious GOST operation, he’s working as a mercenary in Africa when he’s called on to help find Isabelle’s attacker.

Sarah Cameron – a photographer and native Zimbabwean – Clutch’s former lover. She meets Isabelle in the MSF camp.

Rafe – A former Delta Force soldier turned mercenary / bodyguard. Hired by Senator Cresswell (Isabelle’s mother) to watch over her daughter while she is with MSF in Africa.

Admiral Cal – Isabelle’s godfather. He’s the one who gets Isabelle the temporary position in the military.

Jeannie Cresswell – Isabelle’s mother / newly appointed congresswoman.

Main Characters: Nick Devane and Kaylee Smith

Who You’ll Meet:

Nick Devane – A Navy SEAL, brother to Jake and Chris. His story will be told in Book 2, Too Hot To Hold, published January 5th, 2010.

Kaylee Smith – aka K. Darcy. Investigative journalist who ends up investigating the death of her ex-husband – and Nick Devane’s role in it.

Chris Waldron – A Navy SEAL, sniper, brother to Jake and Nick. His story begins in Too Hot To Hold and finishes in Hold On Tight, published January 26th, 2010.

Jamie Michaels – FBI Agent looking for information on GOST and Nick Devane. She ends up in Africa looking for Nick and her sister with Chris Waldron.
