The fishing trip

Zoo’s, not mine, although I’m way jealous.

First, he got the little fishy on the line – here little fishy….

And then Kenny (fishing guide) urged the nice little fish closer to the boat…

Kenny wants to show you the little fish

The little fish is apparently quite heavy

The little fish has a nice, wide smile

Fisherman hug for the joy of it all…

And then they praise the gods of fishing for a good day.

Not bad work if you can get it…

*edited to add – if you’re looking for a great in-short fishing experience in Southern Florida (Ft. Lauderdale, Miami area, contact Kenny.  Zoo’s been fishing with him for five years and it’s always been a blast for him*

Holy crap!!! I probably would have wet my pants and I wouldn’t be able to jump in the water for that either.

WOW! I have never been so close to a shark… though I have a lot of experience speeding through the shark scenes in Finding Nemo — too much for a 2- or 3-yr-old, LOL!

OMG my daughter would be SO jealous. She LOVES hammerhead sharks. Last time we went surf fishing she told us quite smugly she was going to catch a hammerhead and I’ll be damned if that wasn’t the first fish she pulled out of the surf.

    Tell Zoo I hate him…

LOL, Brandy – it’s hard to see that and think about swimming afterwards :)

Emily, you have no idea how jealous I am of this shark – I love going shark fishing :) And Lily loves Nemo!

Shamaya – I knew you’d appreciate these pics! Your daughter’s like the shark whisperer…and Zoo wants to know if you need a ride anyplace…..LOL!!!!!
