Even when I’m not writing (which is the usual around here), I am constantly going over the book in my head. The characters won’t leave me alone, even when I try my damndest to ignore them.

I’m still creating in my head, rethinking a scene, thinking about where it needs a bit more of this or less of that. That part doesn’t really help the word count though.

Well sounds like you’re writing a lot even though you don’t know exactly how much! Yay!!

And you’re right, I’m a bit of a binge writer and when I’m not writing and feeling guilty about it, I am always thinking about “the book.” My mind is always filled with characters. I sometimes wonder if I’m nuts.

ANd I have no idea why all those army men smiley faces are up there! If they even show up!

But you’re so right about still writing even when I’m not. I’m contantly thinking about what I’m going to be writing, letting scenes unfold in my head, imagining tidbits of dialogue etc.

Sometimes I have to stop writing to let my brain catch up
