Eden, I was so thinking of you the other night when I was watching Gene Smimmon's reality show (it was for, um, research - yes, that's it!) and he was being interviewed by Ginger and Christy and I was telling the TV, Eden was there too!

Of course, I was alone in the room talking to myself...

I did blog a tiny bit about it, but I'm not allowed to say much publicly since they own the show and I had to sign something. The hosts, Ginger Lynn and Christy Canyon, were so, so nice to me! And they've invited me back for when my second book comes out in November, which is awesome. Playboy Radio has literally a few million listeners, so it was great promo!

Eden - the smell thing is going to kill me...and yes - you totally make me feel better because I have a book due in November too and I have, oh, 2 pages written on it!

With me, it's usually not the fried brain thing - it's the scattered, I want to work on everything at once and when I can't settle into one thing I'm like, oh, I'll bloghop instead!

Until Larissa threatens me. But really, she's so far away...

Your booksigning sounds fun, tho! And I'm dying to know how your radio show went - are you going to blog about it?!?!

Huh-I get the migraines but no chicken sandwiches. I have heard of that weird smell thing, though-some neurological thing.
So, maybe what I have to do this week will make you feel better? LOL! When I feel overloaded, I just check in to see what Sylvia Day or Jaci Burton (two of the busiest people I know) have on their plates. Here's mine:
I just finished writing a proposal and a first chapter on a new book and sent it in to my editor, as well as revisions on a novella (for our anthology!). Now I have to finish approximately another 150 pages of proofing galleys on Exotica (book #3 for Bantam) so I can start to write a book I was supposed to start work on a month ago, and which I now have exactly 4 months to produce. I really need to put myself on 30 pages a week to keep on schedule, but I'm totally dragging my feet on even beginning to write this book.
Do you ever just feel like your brain is too fried to write?
I have a multi-author booksigning this weekend-a long drive, but I think it'll be fun. But that's one less day to work on this book. Oh, and family coming to town through Tuesday. Hmm...I'll write this book one of these days...

Lynn - some migraines of mine are worse than others...but really, with the writing, it helps so much that I love it - couldn't stop if I tried. Because trust me, I can be as lazy as anything with something I don't want to do.

Tori - Sinus infections are the WORST - I hope you're on good meds for it...I'll try to send the chicken sandwich smell your way. Much better than the burning smell....

Oh, man, I totally sympathize. Only mine's from an impending sinus infection. I wouldn't mind so much if I smelled chicken sandwiches, though...

I'm so jealous of how you are a writing machine. And, that you can think with a migraine! I absolutely cannot function with one.

You go! :bravo:
