Looks like I’ll actually have to catch Men in Trees. Hadn’t heard about it until I visited here!

Loved Walking Tall, knew it was a remake, never saw the original. My husband talks about it, though.

I could watch The Rock (or whatever he prefers to be called) all day long.

I loved Roadhouse. IN a huge way! There’s a Roadhouse 2? Really?

And I adore Men in Trees! I think it’s a great show. Love the characters.

Men in Trees was pretty good…I would watch it again. It had just the right amount of quirkiness to hold my attention. The whole raccoon incident amused me way more than it should have! So did the bitchy agent and the snowblower.

Road House is one movie I will always watch…if only to hear Jeff Healy and catch a glimpse of Swayze’s nekkid butt! Haven’t had the “pleasure” of RH2, though!

I saw the original Walking Tall from the 70’s and the remake. The original was way more serious and intense IMO and the remake was a lot more fun…and we got to see Dewayne Johnson (as he now prefers to be called!) and Johnny Knoxville.

I didn’t care for the new Walking Tall. It seemed more like a synopsis than a story, if that makes any sense. They just skimmed over what could have been great.

And I tried to watch part of Men in Trees. But as a devoted Northern Exposure fangirl, it made me a little ticked off, actually.

Maybe I’ll give it another try, though.

I caught Men In Trees, and loved it also. Good acting, quirky storyline (lov’d the raccoon bit), good writing, good looking guys. I’m hooked.

Tori - how did you think the films compared, or did you not see the new WT?

Sasha - you have to make someone tape it for you!!! And I have to check and make sure that it’s not on at the same time as the Unit - alhough they might be on the same channel…

Jean - that’s too funny!!! My mom wouldn’t let me go to Girl Scout Camp…because she was worried about ticks. But movies? I could see anything.

Cathy - I know what you mean about the DVR - I have way too many shows all of a sudden!!!

I missed Road House 2 as well. Who is even in it? Watched and loved Men as Trees. Appreciated the humor. With all the new shows added this week, so glad I have a DVR.

I’m with ya. On Roadhouse and Walking Tall. Althoguh I have to say I saw Roadhouse 2 inteh video store the other day but didn’t feel the urge to rent it. LOL

I also caught MEn IN Trees, and thought it was great. It sucks fro me that it’s regular night is Fridays though because the timer is busted on my VCR and I work Friday nights :(
