little bit of this, little bit of that…
(Sorry, I’ve got that Michelle Branch song, Game of Love, stuck in my head)
Last year at this time, I was starting to pack up the house for the construction, which was only supposed to take four months.
HA is what I say to that, considering that July 12th is the year mark and this morning I’m still having some last minute things done, like having screen doors installed that have been sitting in my garage for 2 months. And yes, there’s more, but you know, there can only be a few things done on any given day.
Where IS that roving band of SEALs when I need them?
Anyway, I’m actually finally feeling better - day #3 of antibiotics - and I got some good, solid proposal writing done yesterday. One is pretty well finished and the second is shaping up.
Oh, and I heard from an author, who shall remain nameless for now, that she’s writing the end part of her book out-of-order. Someone who swore she never would. *rubs hands together in glee*
And speaking of out-of-order, if you want to see an example of what my rough drafts look like, you can head over to Shannon’s entry - it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who does this.

Thanks, Bonnie!!
You’re so right, Alison - writing on seven scenes at once isn’t the same thing at all…even though it totally is *does the out-of-order dance and then runs away*
oh, but you will, Cece. it’s a sickness that won’t ever go away. Just ask Larissa who can’t stop doing it now…

I could start to like that style of writing.
