"[Tyler's] straight forward, dead-on writing style invites us to get hot and happy and bowled over by love right along with Carly and Hunt. Which makes being there when they do come undone one of the best things about the novel — next to just how great a romance it is." -Michelle Buonofiglio, Romance: Buy The Book

“On a similar note, while you're free to think whatever you like about my life and death, if you think I wasted my life, I'll tell you you're wrong. We're all going to die of something. I died doing a job I loved. When your time comes, I hope you are as fortunate as I was.”
-Andrew Olmsted, US Solider, killed in Iraq on January 3rd, 2008 – words from his final blog, written to be put up in the event of his death. (www.andrewolmsted.com

“Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it’s cracked up to be. That’s why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don’t risk everything, you risk even more.”

corrupting other writers

First, I got to Larissa, who now can’t seem to stop writing out of order. I should note, however, that I’m worried about her. Mainly because, several times over the last few days, she has referred to me as both genius and brilliant. F****** brilliant, I should say. And yes, I saved the emails. I do think she should seek medical attention, although she did tell me that I scared her so maybe it’s not all that serious.

(For the record, I think the same of her. Including the being scared of her part.)

Anyway, I got this from Cece the other day:

Subject Line: It’s all your fault

I’m totally writing out of order =)

*rubs hands together with glee* I wonder who else I can corrupt? Perhaps Sharon? Alison? So many possibilities.

In other news, I go back to the Headache Center tomorrow - it’s been 5 weeks since I’ve been on the new protocol and I’ve had some of the worst migraines of my life. So the book the doctor co-wrote says, call if you have the worst headache you’ve ever experienced. So, of course, I called.

Me: I’m having the worst headache I’ve ever had

Nurse: The doctor says to stay with it. Sometimes it has to get worse before it gets better.

Me: It doesn’t say that in the book.

Nurse: You actually read the book? No one ever reads the book.

I guess I’ll spent the night filling out the headache diary I should’ve been doing every day. Except there are all these little boxes and I don’t really understand how I’m supposed to fill it in.

Guess that kind of negates the whole genius thing, huh?

    Steph:

AUGH! You got me. I have been writing all over the place the last couple of weeks!

:frazzled: I was wondering how that happened! Now I know it was you.

Actually - the “out of order” stuff has been pretty darn good, if I do say so myself, so I haven’t stressed about it.

    Thanks?

  5. Tori Lennox Says:

*hugs* on the headaches! And I hate that whole “it has to get worse before it gets better” crap!!! Bastards.

  6. Tori Lennox Says:

Oh, and I’ve written out of order for years.

  8. Lynn Daniels Says:

    Hope your headaches ease up soon. {{{HUGS}}}

I don’t habitually write out of order, but I do sometimes. When a scene hits me. Because I know I must get it down before I forget.

  9. Larissa Says:

There you go, being all delusional and telling lies again.

  10. cece Says:

    BWAAAAAAAAAAAA

Reliable sources confirm that author Raine Weaver has come to the bassackwards side
