As for the, too much plot, Larissa and I both tend to agree with you. Which is why I've got to listen to her when she's says I've got too much to put into that short of a space - I think she's worried I won't be able to wrap it all up and deal with all of it properly in the 280 pages I've got, and then I'll have to skimp on some areas. But I love knowing what others who read that category think, so I'm going to keep what you say in mind. Mainly because I don't want to cut ANY of my plot. *sob* Ah Mary - you know I sympathize! So I worked on it and now I have the opposite problem. Finding balance is tough. I've forced myself to simplify the plot and make damn sure the subplot is necessary.
