the party’s over
Parents home - keg party over.
It was tough taking care of two houses while they were gone, especially since my house has currently reached the, how much bs can the contractor throw at us, portion of the construction. I knew it was going to happen eventually, but in 2 weeks time they’ve gotten 2 weeks behind. Not really sure how that happened, but needless to say, the husband and I are less than thrilled. I’m hoping there’s some major hauling of ass this week, but as of now, it’s looking more like mid-December.
But enough whining about that. For this second, anyway. I’ve got to bloghop and work on some editing and generally catch up with life. How’s every doing? NaNo working out for you? Writing and life in general going well?

Nano? No-no.

Writing? Crossroad.
Life?
(sorry about the construction, hon!)

Hugs on the construction issues! Life’s going okay. I discovered my GH entry wasn’t such a bad draft after all. I edited 121 pages today. Woo!

A pox on the contruction people! Though maybe that should hit them AFTER they finish the work….
*hugs*

Hope the construction gets better soon!
Nano… well, I hit the halfway point, realized I was ahead of schedule, and then froze. Ugh

No, I’m not doing much writing. Did your mom make you a smoothie when she got home? What is with smoothie people. My dh is always making them.
Our remodel project just spread through the kitchen into the dining room and living room. The contractor wants to start in January. We are trying to get the money together. We are going to have to sell our rental property to do it, but that’s okay, it will be worth it to get my house done. But I am not looking forward to the agony of construction.

Sorry to hear about the contractor.
Here’s hoping you can get him back in line.

What raine said. I’ve dropped my nano project and it shattered
I hope you get that contractor slapped back in line quick!

Not nanoing, but my project’s coming together really nicely. Which is good because I need to turn it in real soon.
Which is worse, smoothies or MREs?

Everything with NaNo is
I am right on target - and the ending that was sort of hanging out there all flabby just got very buff
As for everything else I think this guy
says it all. If not for my blogging and writing, I’d be loony by now.

Hey Steph, I think you might get a kick out of my online story with Behind the Muses. :) Poly (the Muse, had a bit of arun in with Jake)
