I'm the same. It's blank page syndrome. Description? Not my forte. It's always something I must work on diligently. I had to do research to find just the type of house I wanted in my latest story. I couldn't agree more about the name association and interpretation. There are a lot of times I simply won't see the movie because it's just not the same. YAY on the house! Grins* Nah.

I couldn’t agree more about the name association and interpretation. There are a lot of times I simply won’t see the movie because it’s just not the same.

I'm VERY visual! To the point I've got to have a picture in my mind to write description. I've had to do a lot of research on Atlanta because of it and it's driving me nuts, because even though all three stories are set in Atlanta, they all require different amounts of research. I've STILL got questions about the first story and it's done! GAAAAAAAAAAaaaa I also do sketches of homes and go searching websites for clothes and shoes for my characters but I don't like reading a lot of description so I try to make it work really hard, not just be description.
