"[Tyler's] straight forward, dead-on writing style invites us to get hot and happy and bowled over by love right along with Carly and Hunt. Which makes being there when they do come undone one of the best things about the novel — next to just how great a romance it is." -Michelle Buonofiglio, Romance: Buy The Book

“On a similar note, while you're free to think whatever you like about my life and death, if you think I wasted my life, I'll tell you you're wrong. We're all going to die of something. I died doing a job I loved. When your time comes, I hope you are as fortunate as I was.”

“Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it’s cracked up to be. That’s why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don’t risk everything, you risk even more.”

Now, onto the day’s topic.

Today’s horoscope for Aries:

The universe works in mysterious ways, and right now it’s trying to get a very important message across to you, but not in the ways you’re used to. In other words, don’t expect a phone call. Listen to your dreams instead.

Dear Universe:
I’d prefer the phone call. If that doesn’t pan out - I’m prepared:

What Your Dreams Mean…

Your dreams seem to show that you’re a bit disturbed… but nothing serious.

You may have a problem you’re trying to work out in your sleep.

Overall, you are very content in your life.

You tend to be a very productive thinker.

Your dreams indicate that you have very conflicted feelings.

You have a very vivid imagination and a rich creative mind.

And I’d try and apologize for Jake, but really, there’s no apologizing for him. He kind of lives by the motto - it’s easier to ask forgiveness than permission, and he doesn’t plan on asking for either anytime soon. However, I did find a bit of fallout here this morning. It seems that Bo Black and Gabriel might’ve had a slight brawl over Tessa. However, they seem to have called a truce and and last I saw them, they were playing poker and drinking tequila and beam with Jake and muttering things about damned stubborn women. Tessa and Linda’s muse stayed up late with me, having coffee and gossiping and completely ignoring all the men clamoring for attention (don’t worry, Linda - she’s back home.) I haven’t seen Saint or James or Chris. Nick stopped speaking to me last night when I made him say something sensitive.

I made him ask his heroine if she was hungry. He’d just dragged her halfway across the African continent and I thought it might be nice if he offered her water or a cracker.

ROFL! Yes, I’d say that would be the polite thing to do.

I’m not sure where Chris is, but Saint and James are still with me. And it turns out Saint was right about the TV last night. (Just don’t tell him I let him get away with it because the show I wanted to watch was a rerun.)

  2. Amy K. Says:

It’s easier to ask forgiveness than permission…

Love that! For me, though…not for my man.

  3. Jill Says:

    Men.

  4. Sasha Says:

Uhmmm, Did you need Chris back right away?

BTW. He said you don;t have a heroine for him yet. Is he just being stubborn, or is this true. I need to know, and fast. Because, you know…all we’ve done so far is chat. But he’s starting to sing to me, and I don’t know how long I can hold out.

  5. raine Says:

I just had a long session–er, talk with Gabriel.
He seems to enjoy hanging with Jake, Bo, & the boys.
    This could be trouble… :worried:

  6. Steph T. Says:

Tori - Nick still doesn’t agree. Mumbled something about high-maintenance women…(And yeah - Saint always seems to get his way even though it’s best not to let him know that right up front)

    Amy - maybe I’ll put that on a t-shirt…

    Well-put, Jill *g*

Sasha - he has an AMAZING voice. And that slow, Cajun drawl…if he’s started speaking Cajun French to you, you’re in trouble. As for his heroine…it’s a little bit up in the air right now.

    Raine - we’re screwed.

  7. Tori Says:

Uh-oh. Saint was reading over my shoulder….

  8. Tessa Says:

    What’s going on here?

You authors are suckers. Come on. Crack the whip, and get them back where they belong. Whose in control here?

  9. Sasha Says:

    Uhmm, Tessa?

Don’t piss off my friends, or you’ll never get your story.

  10. Steph T. Says:

Saint is too nosey for his own good…

LOL @ Tessa - but it looks like your author has something to say about that…

  11. Suzanne Says:

Well that’s really sweet of him about the water and the cracker….:frazzled:

  12. Cece Says:

LOL@disturbed = Jake and Co
Nice to know I’m in good company. no puns intended.

  13. Danica Says:

I’m thinking there’s a lot of controlling of characters that needs to go on here. :shoot: You could always threaten them with the shredder.

  14. Teresa Says:

LOL!! Steph, you know Nick hasn’t come to visit me lately. Neither has Jake.

But I had to take that dream quiz. Got the same results as you.

  15. kacey Says:

Yes, your RSS feed is working fine!

  16. Steph T. Says:

    Suzanne - it’s scary, isn’t it?

Cece - I think disturbed is only the tip of the iceburg.

*waves to Danica* I have a feeling I’m going to need that threat.

It’s good to know you are among the disturbed, Teresa! Jake & Nick will visit soon - and congrats again on your sale!!!!

Thanks, Kacey! Glad everything’s back to normal in RSS world.
