It's never the honeymoon stage in the beginning with me either, Jill. But the middle and ending are sweet. On the other hand, I normally write long, but I'm having a blast with the novella. who knew. :smoke:

Well I'm off topic but just wanted to say I'm loving the INXS show too! Maybe because I have this secret rock star fantasy ...

As for the honeymoon stage of writing ... that never happens in the beginning for me. It happens in the home stretch. I know, I'm weird. What can I say?

Maybe I'm just a grump, but the honeymoon phase never seems to last long enough for me. :frazzled: Love the analogy...very true!

I'm at the Frank & Marie stage with one - it's finished (thank god) but still needs revisions.

So even though I have several things that should come first, what am I doing? Starting a new one just to feel that honeymoon rush!

Linda - the first novella I wrote was so much fun. And I'm jealous of you writing long so easily.

Jordan - I'm with you on the 'in the books part.' I'm quite happy here in the socks in the dining room phase of RL.

Kacey - I'm hoping the Zen day visits briefly during this evolution...

Cece - I can see I'm going to have to do a lot of threatening with empty pitchers in your fridge and secret meetings with your children to get you to write.:yuck:

AH, the honeymoon phase. So nice. Ends too soon. And then some day...way in the future when you have one of those Zen writing days on the story...you get another brief glimpse of the honeymoon. Sigh.

Sigh . . . I love the honeymoon phase. My WIP is there now.

Two novellas? I'm so tempted to try one . . . but I can't write short. I'm so in awe of those of you who can. :bravo:
