Steph-

Charts? No, I have never seen one. I sort of write by the seat of my pants, so to speak, and usually don't even do any plotting! I started writing semi-seriously 8 years ago, when I was 18. I have about 35-something stories started, all in various stages, but nothing completed (or even close to being completed) yet. I got a laptop for Christmas from my parents, hoping that would spur me on to write, but my "page-a-day" still fizzled. I would find too that I would write a ton of pages one day, then none for the next few days to a week, even. And when I did sit down and try to make myself write, I couldn't focus! Argh!

For me, I let the hubby sleep then pounce him first thing in the morning. . . He usually asks how much coffee I've had. WTG though. I so love the groove and the idea!:bravo:

Me too, Kacey! I hope it sticks around...

Thanks for the cheering,Jill - it felt so good to finally have that happen again.

Joely - It had been a really long time since I'd gotten into the zone, so I hear you. I really had to almost force myself for a good week of total crap writing before this finally happened.

Thanks Tori! (have you seen Saint, btw? He's been quiet;)

Kellie - I have such a tough time setting page a day goals because I tend to write a ton one day and nothing for the next four days. I put the charts up on my blog b/c I need some visual motivation - do you have any charts? And yay on the pages you wrote last week!

That's great Steph! Now if only I can get my butt in gear and start writing! I started a "page a day" book at the beginning of the year...and um, well, only have some 65 page! Needless to say, it's obvious that we are more than just 65 days into the year! But I wrote a few pages last week, so that's good! Now if I can just keep at it!

My husband is one of those dead-sleepers too! I can vaccum around his head if he is sleeping on the floor and the man won't wake up!

Oh, man, I love being in the Zone. I haven't been there in a long time. Congrats on the break through! Soon the characters will be talking to you faster than you can type!

It is such a good feeling - knew you guys would know exactly what I was talking about.

And my husband's SUCH a deep sleeper he remembers nothing and the light barely registers with him. Except when I try and wake him up to tell him about my breakthrough...
