I am actually a rabid football fan. With that said, this year's game is a who cares game for me. I'd still watch it though, BUT I'm going to play a poker tournament instead *g*

Football...poker. Football...poker. Tough choice! Add fishing to that equation and I'd be a mass of indecision hehe.

There are a few sports I'll watch. Football sometimes (I haven't watched it rabidly since Joe Montana left the Niners, my favorite team.)

And I LOVE ice hockey. I'll watch downhill skiing, too, but I don't go out of my way to find it on TV. Oh, and NASCAR. Can't miss a race! *g*

Ahh, a basketball girl. That's my favorite sport too, preferably college. I used to watch a lot of football, but now that I have kids and try to write, who has time? As for baseball, I'm SO right there with you. Food is the ONLY entertainment, especially when the team you're cheering for (and I use that term lightly) is the KC Royals. :)

I found the gin and tonics I received at the last basketball game I went to 'almost' made up for sitting through the game. :-)

Menu? Food? I'll have what you're having, so make it good. As for sports, well, I could go all day on Sundays with the TV off. Really. Off is good. And Larissa, if you love NASCAR (and what's not to love about a season that lasts forever where everyone keeps turning left? ) then you need to read Metro Girl by J. Evanovich. She's got a hunky NASCAR guy driving a Mini Cooper

I prefer hockey, but football is ok. Plus, I have money in a pool so I need to keep track of the scores. *g*

I'm right there with you on football and baseball. Honestly I never cared much for sports until the kids started playing and now I love watching soccer and basketball. I can handle NASCAR (BTW PAm Britton also has a NASCAR book coming out at the end of the month) but football and baseball? A complete waste of time.

Funny, my hairdresser is a DIE HARD Packers fan. Come football season she's in the living room w/the men watching the game while her husband (who is 6'5 and built like a linebacker) is in the kitchen cooking =)

LOL, Steph! You crack me up. And I'm with you on the food at baseball games. And lots and lots of beer. Otherwise I'm completely miserable. BORING!!! 90% of the time the players just stand there.
