I call myself a romance writer and romance author interchangeably. It was actually Genevieve who came up with the by-line “Author of Sensual Romances”. Obviously, I liked it! *g*
I specify “romance” because I think more of us should. There’s a stigma attached to reading and writing romance that I refuse to buckle under. ;)

I say I’m a writer. And I don’t ussually specify erotica, or romance or whatever, unless I’m trying to make a point with someone. It’s not a big deal either way though. I think. :)

I say I’m a writer. Though I’ve always thought that if you complete a novel you can call yourself an author. But what about “novelist?” Do you have to be published for that? I’m so confused.
