Stephanie Tyler was a Secondary Ed teacher for grades ranging from middle school to college while she pursued a PhD in English Literature, all while trying to convince herself that she would get back to her dream of writing as a career eventually. When her daughter was born with serious medical problems, Stephanie found inspiration in the fighter her child proved to be—and found her own way back to writing.
Today, Stephanie writes what she loves to read—romantic suspense with military heroes. Her first published novel, Coming Undone, sold to Harlequin Blaze in 2006 and was one of the top twenty-five books on eHarlequin in its first month of publication. Her two subsequent Blazes were on Bookscan’s Top 100 Bestselling Romance List. The books of her Hard To Hold trilogy from Bantam Dell were released back to back between November 2009 and February 2010, with Hard To Hold receiving a Starred Review from Publishers Weekly, which states, "Tyler's in-depth character study transcends the formulas of romantic suspense." All three romantic suspenses with Navy SEAL heroes spent several weeks each on Bookscan's Top 100 Bestselling Romance List and book 3, Hold On Tight, hit the New York Times Bestseller List.
